Today, I Set A Watch At The Door Of My Mouth!
The Proverbial writer reminds us, “Death and life are in the power of tongue”. We have heard it said for some time now that we really need to watch is coming out of our mouth. Somehow we don’t quite believe that.
When you come to a full understanding of the power your words carry, you will begin make some serious adjustments in the way to hold conversations. Your words act as a container which can transport doubt and fear, or your words can be a container that transports faith. Jesus said, “…You shall have whatever you say.”
Words are so powerful because when spoken in faith, your words will release and set in motion whatever you believe you are saying good or not good. The above scripture in Proverbs goes on to say, “… and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Whatever it is that you love to talk about, you will receive the fruit of that in your life. Let’s considers some of things you love to talk about:
- What you are lacking, how many bills remain unpaid
- Doubting if what you are believing for will manifest
- Fearful of failure
- Fearful of success
- Judging and criticizing people
- How sick you are
- How frustrated you are, etc.
Remember, whatever you love to talk about, that is what will show up for you. Why not choose to talk about:
- How you are divinely supported in everything you do
- Believing that every need is met and every way is made
- Succeeding in everything you to put your hands to
- You are in divine health
- You are blessed and highly favored, (For real!)
Choose to set a watch at the door of your mouth. In other words, stand guard and monitor what is coming out of your mouth. Don’t talk about things you really don’t want to see show up. Practice ministering grace to your hearers. Have something uplifting and empowering to talk about!
