(John 16:13)
It is a funny thing about the truth. It has been said that most people will believe a lie before they believe the truth. Could that be because sometimes the truth can be painful? Truth is often hidden under the guise of protection fueling the belief that not knowing is best for someone else. Sometimes it is easier to ignore truth because we don’t want to experience the change that truth inevitably brings.
No matter what the reason why truth is avoided, truth is necessary if your goal is to be successful. Until you are willing to know the truth about yourself, you will not experience lasting success. You will continue to hit and miss. The beautiful thing is that once you discover and live your truth in the most authentic way possible, life becomes a much more joyful and fulfilling journey. These are some areas that truth must be revealed in order to achieve lasting success:
- You must know the truth about who you are at your deepest spiritual level. I call this your SASS™ (Strongest Authentic Spiritual Self)
- You must know the truth about what you have been sent here to do, understanding the big WHY behind what you do
- You must know the truth about what you want for yourself in relationships as you move forward and fulfill destiny
You should be tapped in to your IGS (Inner Guidance System) which is the Holy Spirit at all times, frequently checking in as you move through life. Anytime you are stuck, conflicted, confused, or misdirected, check in with the Holy Spirit and be open to receiving truth. The truth will set you free!
