Are You Secretly Feeling Like You Missed Your Golden Opportunity? Are you Feeling as if you are on a road to nowhere? Do you sometimes feel as though you are so close but yet so far from your blessing?
If you have lived even for a short while as an adult, you may be plagued with the feeling that something is missing. Somewhere, somehow, you have missed the mark. No doubt you can remember a time when things were going a lot better for you than they are now. Things were probably better relationally, financially, and perhaps physically. (We won’t talk about the weight thing here!)
The truth of the matter is– life is full of choices and daily opportunities to choose your path. Sometimes you get it right and other times you realize you made a wrong turn. (Although I personally believe there are no wrong turns—God doesn’t waste anything!)
You may have allowed yourself to be compromised or put on hold for whatever reason. You may have played small and hidden from the best version of yourself. Whatever happened, you know something shifted, halted, or came to a complete stop. Try as you may, things just are not the same. Something is telling you it’s over! You blew it! Your grand opportunity for success is gone and it’s never coming back (at least not like it was before)! You know something is blocking you but you just can’t figure it out.
There are several things worth noting here:
- Whenever there is a total and complete interruption in your life, that is a sign fromGod that something else needs to happen for you.
- An interruption should be interpreted as a good thing, (most of the time)
- There is something greater, better, or richer waiting.
Please take the time to examine what it is that wants to show up for you in this season. Something new could be on the horizon!
When you experience an interruption that is a sign that you have gone as far as you can on that road and a new pathway to success wants to emerge for you. Or, you were experiencing a measure of success but more inner work needs to happen in order to continue on and receive even more success.
Spiritual Success Tip:
First and foremost, the idea that you only have one golden opportunity in your lifetime is a myth! Each and every day there is a new opportunity for you to re-invent you. No one situation, job, relationship, or financial status is all there is. There is always more…
If you are feeling like you missed your golden opportunity, throw that notion out the window!!! That is a myth designed to keep you mourning the past. What’s done is done!
Take some quiet time and examine the following
- What is being shown to you in this situation?
- What is being asked of you in this situation?
- Where do you really want to go from here?
- How do you really want to feel in your life, ministry, or business moving forward?
Please take conscious note of what is being shown to you, asked of you, and then follow you inner guidance confidently and obediently.
There is always another opportunity for you to move forward with great success. Be willing to jump back in, step up your game, and enjoy the version of your new wonderful, successful life that’s waiting for you.
