On this day that we celebrate as “Good Friday,” let us remember that Jesus, The Christ, came and labored so that we can enter into the finished work and rest.
The Hebrew writer declares in Hebrews 4: 1-3:
“Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us to entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest as he said. As I have sworn in my wrath if they shall enter into my rest; although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.”
Rest. A place of safety and comfort…
Now is the time to get the full results of Christ’s finished work. Remember Jesus Cried… “IT IS FINISHED!” Now beloved you must enter “Dominion Rest!”
There are several types of rest. Daily rest, Sabbath rest, and Dominion Rest. There is a difference between these. In particularly Sabbath Rest and Dominion Rest.
DOMINION REST….
“The difference between the two types of rest is this: Sabbath Rest is a time or rest, but Dominion Rest is a place of rest.
Dominion Rest is the enjoyment of your personal promised land—your inheritance, which may include an actual physical location or perhaps your place of ministry. Dominion Rest is your call, your destiny in earth….” (A Time To Advance — Chuck Pierce.)
Today Reaffirm that you have entered into God’s Rest. that means leaving forever the place of:
- Labor
- Weariness
- Striving
- Struggle
- Depression, etc.
