TODAY, I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY SUCCESS!
Success is something that everyone wants. I don’t believe there is anyone anywhere that would say success is not what they want. The truth of the matter is–many people don’t exactly know what to do to achieve success. I do know that success means different things to different people. But, the bottom line is, no matter what your definition of success, it would have to include you being your best and doing your best!
We have often heard the saying “success is a journey and not a destination”, how true. What I have discovered over the past 25 years in ministry and striving to serve people, is that most people have given up on their dreams and aspirations for many reasons, such as:
- Consequences of choices made
- Misalignment in relationships
- Fear
- Listening to the wrong people
- Stuck in a mindset of defeat
What I have also found is that many people at one time or other have tried to move forward and make something happen but was turned back by failed attempts. Those failed attempts proved to be so painful that it paralyzed them and they just stop trying.
If you are going to be successful and live the life of your dreams, you are going to have to take a different approach. I once heard John Assaraf say, “If you are interested you will do what is convenient, but if you are committed, you will do whatever it takes!” You must be committed to your success. Being committed means that you are willing to do whatever it takes!
If you are ready to move forward and achieve great things, you are going to have to take responsibility for your success. Meaning you must be willing to let go of whatever is holding you back. You must be willing to stop the blame game! That means you cannot blame anyone or anything for what is not working for you. You must be willing to look within yourself and see what is hindering your success. What is going on in your outer world is only a reflection of the thoughts and emotions going on in your inner world.
Every one of us can be successful. Success was encoded in you from the beginning. I encourage you to ask God to help you dream again! Get up and get moving!!! This time refuse to take no for an answer. Keep trying until you reach your desired goal. Take full responsibility for your success, when you move, divine providence will move with you!
