Over the past few days we have witnessed the end of one year and the entrance of a new one! We are now nine days into the New Year and that’s just enough time for “YOU” to catch up with “YOU”! This is what I call “being trapped in your stuff!” Your old familiar ways catch up to you and you fall back into an old cycle of habits and patterns. I encourage you to take a moment, re-group and then keep heading true north! Every round goes higher and higher. No matter what keep moving!

I remember reading a book a few years ago and one of the chapters was entitled “It’s not Hocus Pocus It’s All About Focus!”
That chapter made such an impact on my life letting me know that focus is a powerful tool. There is another saying that I keep with me and that is this, “Dreams Don’t Come True Plans Do!” Even more true, Plans executed!!! As you can see from the image above, Focus as an acroynm means, “Follow One Course Until Successful.”
I know that there are times when you can become “scatter brain” and confused and it seems like there are 20 different directions you can go in. But you know what kind of results you get from that way of thinking, NONE! It is important that in 2015 you begin the practice of working on, focusing on, one thing at a time. “Where ever attention goes, energy flows. Where ever energy flows you are creating a result, good, bad, or indifferent.
Be determined to stay focused. Be vigilant. Catch yourself whenever you get off course. Learn your “tell-tale” signs. Being distracted happens as a result of a sequence. Learn to know when you are setting yourself up to be distracted. Stop, re-group and then get back on course. That’s the only way you are going to see results this time around. You are going to have to do some things differently in this season.
