A few days ago I was coaching a private group and this question came up…
“Why does it seem like all of the ‘saved people’ go through so much, and why does it seem as though we are the tail and not the head, below and not above, the borrower and not the lender? I am confused–I thought we were supposed to have the opposite!”
I commended this person for coming forward and being honest about what they were feeling. I said, “Frankly, I am confused too!” I am confused because I know there is so much available that so many of God’s people are not taking advantage of.
We say that we know that we are called and chosen as God’s beloved children, however I find myself confused as to why it seems as though we are living like orphans with no one to care for us.
Remember last week I shared that someone said to me, “I feel like everywhere I turn, there is a road block. I can’t seem to get through no matter which way I turn. My life seems to be one big ball of confusion!
Every time I feel good about myself and put my best foot forward and step out into the world it seems like rejection is there to meet me, this has been going on for as long as I can remember”.
All of this sent me to seek the Lord about this seemingly endless confusion around our true inheritance and why it is taking so long for so many to tangibly live the “good life”. This is what I heard in my spirit,
“TRICKS, LIES, SMOKESCREENS AND DETOURS!!!”
All Designed to Delay, Defeat, and Distract …
I immediately began to search my spirit and ask for guidance as to how I can be of service and help God’s people expose and eliminate every trick, lie distraction and detour the adversary is putting up.
The truth is that there are so many road blocks, stop signs, and detour signs that we can run into as we are fulfilling our life’s purpose, that it can feel like there is no breakthrough nowhere in sight.
Perhaps that’s how you’re feeling today, like there is no breakthrough in sight. I can feel you!
I know this is your time and your season to see the full manifestation of what you have been promised and I want to help you uncover and destroy what’s been in your way.
