Peace, Wholeness, & Blessings!
My Social Media postings this week centered on focus, staying calm, being awake, alert, and present. I want to close this week with these words… “Don’t sweat the small stuff, It’s all small stuff! “
I remember reading a book back in the 1990s that really revolutionized my life and set me on a course of peace–sweet peace! The book was entitled, “Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff, It’s All Small Stuff”, By Richard Carlson, Ph.D.
During our live Facebook gathering on Sunday, I talked about your perspective and how it really does matter. There is a popular saying, “If you change how you look at things, the things you look at will change.”
Too often many people tend to look at a situation and immediately place an unfavorable spin on it which causes worry to set in. So much of your sacred, creative energy is being wasted on small things being blown out of proportion.
If you can stop, take a step back, and look for ways to minimize a situation, you will find that so much of what you’ve allowed yourself to sweat over was not worthy of your attention.
Remember, in this season, you must allow people to be who they are and do what they do without your criticism or judgment!
When you adopt an attitude of “its’s all small stuff”, you will start to live your life stress-free, worry-free, and distraction-free.
Also remember, your perception really does matter because your perception is creating your reality. Good, bad, or indifferent. You are the creator of it!
