God is calling for His Church to once again be on fire and burning with supernatural power that produces signs, wonders and miracles…
Maybe this hasn’t been what you were saying, but this is what I’ve been saying for a long time now…
“Where is the real power of God in the Church?”
We are living in a time where everything and every kind of “soulish” power is claiming to be the real power of God.
I know that we are in a season for the supernatural to be activated in the life of the believer. We cannot be an authentic church if we are not seeing the supernatural operate on a regular basis. (That includes my church as well!)
The Early Church regularly operated with signs, wonders and miracles. Throughout the entire book of Acts we are seeing miraculous things take place. What happened to the later-day Church if Jesus declared?
“Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”
(John 14:12-14)
SUBSTITUTES FOR THE REAL POWER OF GOD…
We have become a people that have fallen short and have substituted the real power of God with:
- Human ability alone
- Man-made programs without the Holy Spirit’s input
- Psychology and philosophy
- Theology
- Intellect and human reasoning
- Witchcraft, legalism, etc.
If you are ready for the supernatural power to be activated in your life, the Holy Spirit declares that today we must:
- Seek the Lord with the whole heart (2 Chronicles 7:14)
- Yield your members as instruments of righteousness (Romans 6:13)
- Activate Faith – Hebrews 11:6
We have to admit that we have allowed the flesh to take control of many of our churches and repent for putting worldly and carnal things before a Holy God. We are stuck moving by what we see, rather than relying of the Leading of the Holy Spirit.
There is so much God wants to use us to do. Won’t you give God a chance to really use you? Let’s activate real faith and see God perform wonders in this generation!
